Patric Edmondson

Patric Edmondson serves as the Chief Information Officer of The Specialty Alliance, where he leads the strategy, development, and execution of enterprise-wide information technology and security initiatives. With more than three decades of experience in technology leadership, Patric is recognized for his ability to align advanced technology solutions with organizational goals, drive digital transformation, and protect critical assets across complex, highly regulated industries.

In his role at The Specialty Alliance, Patric oversees technology infrastructure, data governance, and information security, ensuring compliance with rigorous industry standards such as HIPAA, HITRUST, and SOC 2. He leads teams responsible for cybersecurity, policy development, enterprise systems, and the implementation of innovative IT initiatives that support the network’s growth and operational excellence.

Previously, Patric served as Chief Information Officer at GI Alliance, where he directed the organization’s technology vision and helped build scalable systems to support the nation’s largest independent gastroenterology network. His leadership played a vital role in advancing digital capabilities that improved both clinical and operational performance.

Before joining GI Alliance, Patric was Chief Technology Officer at Modernizing Medicine (ModMed) for nine years, leading teams in product development, engineering, data analytics, and cloud services. His forward-thinking leadership helped deliver transformative healthcare technology solutions adopted by thousands of providers nationwide.

Earlier in his career, Patric held executive technology roles at NTT Communications, Campus Management (now Anthology), and JM Family Enterprises. He also served as Chief Information Officer for two government agencies, where he helped shape technology policy and modernize digital infrastructure.

Patric earned his Bachelor of Science from Texas State University and a Master of Public Administration from Florida Atlantic University. He has also completed postgraduate certificates in business management and public administration, underscoring his commitment to innovation, leadership, and lifelong learning.
