Benjamin Griffith
Ben Griffith serves as the President of The Specialty Alliance, where he leads the organization’s strategy and operations to advance its mission of supporting independent, physician-led specialty practices. Drawing on extensive experience in healthcare leadership, Ben oversees operations, growth, revenue cycle, and technology functions, ensuring alignment across clinical and business priorities. His collaborative approach and deep understanding of the healthcare landscape position him as a key driver of The Specialty Alliance’s continued expansion and commitment to multispecialty excellence.
Previously, Ben served as President at GI Alliance, where he oversaw Operations, M&A + Growth, Revenue, and IT, partnering closely with physician leaders and the executive team to guide the nation’s largest independent gastroenterology network. From 2022 to 2025, he also held the role of Chief Legal Officer at GI Alliance, where he was instrumental in shaping the company’s growth strategy and legal framework.
Before joining GI Alliance, Ben spent nearly a decade in private law practice, completing more than 100 mergers and acquisitions in the healthcare industry, including numerous high-impact transactions. His experience spans physician practice management and MSOs, hospitals, health systems, and ancillary service providers, with expertise in M&A, joint ventures, and strategic business development.
Ben has been recognized by Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers, and the St. Louis Business Journal’s “30 Under 30.” He earned his law degree cum laude from Saint Louis University School of Law and his bachelor’s degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
